8th Grade Party 2025 – Way to GLOW!

Hello 8th Grade Party families,
Woo Hoo…We wanted to share some important day of the party drop-off and pick up details. Again, we want to say a huge thank you all for signing your kids up, getting payments in, generous monetary and raffle prize donations, and volunteers. We are looking forward to celebrating these kids as they wrap up middle school and prepare for their next chapter in HS!! Below AND attached are the key day of details.
CPMS PTSA PARTY DETAILS:
Date: Friday, June 6th, 2025
Time: 6pm-9pm
Location: McMenamins Anderson School – Haynes Hall
(18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell, WA 98011)
IMPORTANT: See attached for Drop off and pickup locations.
- Starting at 5:45-6:00pm DROP OFF: Parent/guardian must drop students off at the dropoff location indicated on the attached map provided by McMenamins.
- There are no physical tickets, we have all of the parent permission slips & student details for day of. Upon check in, your student will receive a wristband & T-shirt if purchased
- We have a few extra shirts for purchase, please reach out if you wish to purchase and I can send you the Paypal link for the $10 add on.
- 9:00-9:30pm PICKUP: Parent/guardian must pickup students at the pickup location indicated on the attached map provided by McMenamins. Students must remain at the party until they are picked up by their Parent/guardian or whomever you have coordinated to drive them home after the party. As you arrive please text/call your students so they know you are in line for pickup. Volunteers will be out front at the pickup location to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.
- There will be food catered by Mcmenamins and a desserts table at the party provided by Costco & QFC. The menu should have something for everyone with consideration for a wide variety of dietary restrictions and allergies. Please have your child ask if they have any questions or concerns about specific items.
- No dress code, I am sure kids will come casual and some will dress up a little. We will have black light cannons in the main hall – lighter colors and/or neon would be fun with the black light.

Festivities will include – DJ, Dancing, Food, Prizes, Photo Booth, Outdoor Games, Indoor Activities, and an Outdoor Quiet Space will also be available at the party.
Each 8th-grade student needs to have an online Parent Permission Slip submitted and purchase a ticket (scholarships available) see below):
PARTY TICKET and ADD-ON Details:
- Ticket Sales will be March 10th through April 18th at $35/ticket
- Ticket prices will increase to $40 April 19th and ticket sales end May 10th.
- Optional $10 CPMS 2025 T-shirt add-on to decorate/sign at party are available with ticket purchase
- Optional Donation add-on with ticket purchase. All party donations will go towards party expenses including decorations, raffle prizes, activities, scholarships, vendors, etc.

ONLINE Ticket Sales info:
To pay for your ticket, you must complete the following Permission Slip and click on the Submit button at the end of the form which will take you to another link (PayPal) to check out. Click on the PayPal link to complete your student’s ticket purchase. IN-PERSON Ticket Sales info:
If you prefer to pay by check or cash, please have your student bring it to the PTSA table during lunch time on March 27th or March 28th during B & C Lunches. Exact payment must be accompanied with student name typed or legibly printed. Parents must still complete the online permission slip. If a printed permission slip is needed, please email us at the email address below.
Note:
Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the door. Tickets must be purchased in advance and a permission slip must be signed and turned in before admittance to the party.
If you have more than one 8th-grade student, please complete a separate form for each student.
Once ticket sales end and we get closer to the event, we will follow up with families on additional day-of details and coordination like drop off and pick up location, etc.
VOLUNTEER/CONTRIBUTE to the Party:
This party is funded fully by ticket sales and donations. Please see below for how you can support the party:
- We are looking for volunteers to help with Set Up/Clean Up and Chaperoning.
- We are also looking for help with securing raffle prizes, decorations, and activities through our Amazon wishlist. Feel free to purchase these items elsewhere and contact eighthgradeparty@cpptsa.org to let us know and arrange for delivery.
- ** If you’re able to donate fun, exciting prizes like sports tickets or game consoles, please let us know. We would love to have them for our raffle prizes!**
